Fucoidan can help maintain existing normal cholesterol levels
The process of cholesterol formation occurs in the liver. Our bodies produce a “good” cholesterol (HDL) and a “bad” cholesterol (LDL). Optimum health is achieved when we can maintain cholesterol levels (LDLs and HDLs) already in the normal range. There is some evidence to suggest that fucoidan can help us to maintain existing healthy cholesterol levels by influencing the metabolic activity in the liver where fatty acids are processed.
Instead of taking statins such as Lipitor, Crestor or Zocor which deplete CoQ10 (Coenzyme Q10) levels among other very serious side effects, fucoidan can naturally assist in normalizing cholesterol levels and facilitate the liver to perform the essential task of efficiently processing fatty acids in the liver and of course without inhibiting the natural production of critical CoQ10. Fucoidan, from brown seaweed, provides so many health benefits as a natural immune system boost to normalizing cholesterol levels and maintain health joints and thereby preventing joint pain and arthritis.
